Sick Of The Ayn Rand Cult
Objectivists believe the mind comes to understand reality through logic and observation. The mind engages in a continual life long process of integration and differentiation for the creation of concepts, making abstract thought possible and thus the development and accumulation of an understanding of reality from birth to later years. Clearly, this scientific process of observing reality and drawing conclusions is faith based and cultish. It is like when Einstein declared E=MC^2, like HOW DOES HE KNOW!?!? By observing reality and applying logic? That is not reliable. The only reliable source of knowledge is intuition.
Religion is an alleged shortcut to knowledge. So is the acceptance of the doctrine of self sacrifice. So is skepticism, the philosophy that the imagination is an equally valid source of knowledge as empiricism. Utilitarianism is in actuality a faith-based system, while Objectivism is not, but get this!- we actually accuse Objectivists of believing in a faith based system! Thats right, we are basically calling science a faith system, and referring to our own faith system as science? Mua ha ha ha ha we are so evil. Wrong... but evil.

You idiot. Saying Einstein didn't apply logic to discover E=mc2 is like saying you don't use oxygen to breathe. Science is rooted in reason and logic, it is the foundation of of the scientific method. The scientific method is exactly here to counter human intuition. Intuition is the shortcut to knowledge; the definition of intuition is using simply guessing based what seems to be true superficially about a particular problem- without actually analyzing (reason), applying mathematics (logic), controlling an experiment, having no bias, and being open to possibility of being wrong on your original venture (hypothesis). It's amazing how mislead people can be, claiming science is based on intuition. Religion = intuition, saying there is a god is intuitive to the mislead or uneducated because they refuse confirm the fact that their intuition must surrender to the inspection of logic and reason. Intuitive people declare with empty certainty that their intuition is beyond or outside of logic. The old moronic argument that exempts them from reality. Intuition is for guessing, logic is for discovery. Intuition is subject to bias and misinformation. Logic is its own arbiter. Exempting yourself form reality is fine if you're a science fiction author where you agree that your work is false and is pure entertainment. Denying that your "intuitive" fantasy is false, leads you to delude yourself. Believing the first thing that pops into your head, is intuition- only to later understand you may have been wrong. And if you were right, it was pure luck. Only by being wrong is an 'intuitive' person forced to use logic and reasoning skills to find the correct solution. Intuition must be the first solution that you arrive to without using any deductive and reasoning skills, its simply 'look and know.' The second you decide to grapple with your sense possible wrongness, you succumb to logic and reason, where reality will decide how skillful you were in your mental ability. And you must use logic and reason, if you are human and want to live. To live a proper life is to use your head, not the primitive ancient brain that uses intuition when you decide to enter a mental fog in order to evade reality and arrive at a real solution to a problem.
