A Poem of Romance

I met a girl named Fanny Maye
who always ate a larger portion
than I, and thus, needless to say,
her size was of immense proportion

Each night when we went out to dine
she enjoyed a fine yet fat'ning repast
of cake, pies, cookies, donuts, wine...
her voluptuous figure would not last

Now, at the risk of sounding callous
I favor women small, petite
but truthfully, I bear no malice
t'wards those who solely eat things sweet

I urged my girl to try a diet
but she, consigned to a life obese
and loving sweets, refused to try it
preferring that her waste increase

With buldging stomach and thund'rous thighs
yet she remained light of my life
So, undeterred by ample size
this copious girl I made my wife
